Skate Generation

Skate Generation documents and tells the story of an alternative generation. Igor Ponti describes a way of live experienced in first person. Narrative appears on the page opposite the portraits collected by the author directly from the skaters featuring in the book. These narrative describe years of emotional ties, shared experiences, amusing stories. as well as memories with provide an historical heritage of an unknown subculture. We discover page after page what typical attributes these individuals have and what they share in common, in an almost voyeuristic manner, an almost unknown world, to which young people belong.
